Week of October 26 Assignment #2

Some of the prayer intentions from last week were:

Pray for Covid to end
Prayers for Mom and Dad

3rd-7th Grade:

Your prayer song for today is "Lord, I Need You." Sing along and click HERE when you are done.

4K-2nd Grade:

Enjoy singing along with "5 Ugly Monsters Jumping on the Bed." Click HERE when you are done.

Week of October 26 Assignment #1

This first video is for everyone to watch. The music is titled "In the Hall of the Mountain King." The video is a fun way to "see" the music. Enjoy!

4K, 5K, 1st and 2nd Grades - get up and move to "Halloween Stomp." After you've watched both videos click HERE to answer questions about them.

3rd-7th Grades - Listen to "Autumnal Equinox." See if you can pat your lap 7 times with the beat and clap your hands on the 8th beat. Try to keep it going for the whole song. (Hint - count to 8 and start over again. Start counting when the drums start. Every time you get to "8" clap your hands.) This works well also if you tap your hands on a table for 7 beats, then clap your hands on the 8th beat. After you've watched both videos click HERE to answer questions about them.

Week of 10-19 Assignment #2

4K-2nd grade - I have a movement video and a story video for you today. After you watched both videos click HERE to answer questions and receive credit for music class.

3rd-7th grade - Today I have 2 videos for you to watch. The first is a symphony orchestra playing "Devil's Dance." I picked it because it sounds a little like Halloween music. Listen and try to identify instruments you see and hear.

The second video is a fun body percussion video. Follow along and try it!
