About Me

I am the music teacher at both St. Edward School in Mackville and Most Precious Blood School in New London.  I live in Black Creek with my husband of 24 years and two of our 3 children - Julia (19) and Joshua (17). Our oldest daughter, Carolyn, recently got married and lives in Stevens Point. We have 2 cats, Honey and Mo, and a big black Lab named Tonka.   As a family we enjoying camping in the summer and playing card games all year.  I enjoy reading, playing piano and taking walks.  In addition to teaching music, I teach piano lessons at both schools and my home and I play piano for various church services throughout the week.

I grew up in Navarino and graduated from Bonduel High School in 1989.  I continued on to UW-Oshkosh where I graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education degree in 1995. The highlight of my school career was getting to student teach in Australia! It was an awesome experience that I'll never forget. I know I am meant to be a music teacher because it brings me so much joy every day. I am constantly looking for ways to improve my teaching and new ideas to use in my classroom.
