Coming soon!

I am working on creating some music classes that will be posted here. I'd like you to look for some items in your home that you can make and/or use as instruments. You can get as creative as you'd like! Some of my ideas are:

  • Wooden spoons (or if you don't have wooden spoons any 2 large serving spoons will work)
  • A metal lid to a pot or pan
  • A shaker - maybe you have a younger brother or sister who has a rattle laying around. Or make your own. You could use a plastic Easter egg (since it's almost Easter). Just fill it with some rice, corn, beads, whatever you can find. Tape it shut so it doesn't pop open when you shake it. You could also use a toilet paper tube. Cover one end, put some of the above items in in, cover the other end and you have a shaker!
  • An empty tissue box, shoe box, large can (like a coffee can), or even a large plastic bowl to use as a drum
